NKT A/S develops, manufactures, and markets cables, accessories, and solutions worldwide. It operates through four segments: Solutions, Applications, Service & Accessories, and NKT Photonics. It offers low voltage building wires, including data/communication, control, armoured/screened installation, halogen-free flexible and installation, and polyvinylchlorid (PVC) flexible and installation cables, as well as lamp cords; and low voltage harmonized cables and wires, such as halogen free and PVC multi-core, and PVC single core cables and wires. It also provides low voltage 1 kV cables comprising building/indoor, under ground power, overhead distribution, and armoured/screened cables, as well as grounding wires; medium voltage cables; and high and extra high voltage onshore and offshore cables, such as direct current, single and three core, city, and emergency cables. In addition, it offers medium, high, and extra high voltage cable accessories, including ATS to facilitate a single core breakout, HU for bird protection on the high-voltage bushings, AK-ADAS for extension of Al cable, universal and overhead line clamps, pre-assembled connection cables, surge arresters, connectors, terminations, joints, switchgear/transformer terminations, and oil cable accessories. Further, it provides power cable monitoring solutions; telecom energy cables, such as single, dual, and multiple conductor cables; special cables; and optical fiber and laser technology. Additionally, it offers cable, installation, and recycling services; turnkey and Q-solutions; and Go Green Score, an approach that allows customers to objectively assess and compare the sustainability of high voltage cable projects. It serves construction, industrial, mining, power distribution and transmission, renewable energy, telecom, railway, and trading sectors.
