Hokuetsu Corporation manufactures and sells paper products in Japan and internationally. It operates in two segments, Paper and Pulp Business, and Packaging and Paper Processing Business. The company offers printing and communication papers for books, magazines, catalogs, and brochures. It also provides white paperboard, coated duplex board, cast coated paper, etc. for various packages, catalogs, POP advertising, and postcards, as well as the covers of publications and others. In addition, the company offers premium printing papers, fancy papers, communication papers, papers for industrial use, specialty processed products, specialty fiber boards, and others. Further, it offers food containers for convenience stores and supermarkets; processed paper for materials, cosmetics, and medical products packaging; milk and drink cartons under Tohei Pak brand name; and adhesive postcard papers, answer sheet papers, business forms, RFID tags, and communication media products. In addition, the company provides transportation, warehouse, industrial wastewater purification processing and waste disposal, mailing, electric instrumentation construction, and civil engineering and buildings design and construction services; manufactures and sells glass fiber sheets and industrial machinery; supplies steam and electric power, and computer related components; processes and sells carrier tape for precision electronic parts; sells wood chips for paper manufacturing and woods; purchases and sells used papers; manufactures, purchases, and sells pallets; sells raw materials, fuels, and chemicals for paper manufacturing and chemical products; and manages driving school and golf practice range.
